Scavenging Systems
There is a wide variation in scavenging systems around the world. This transparent reality simulation models the active open (common in Europe), active bag (common in US), passive bag, and the passive activated charcoal scavenging systems (indicated when nitrous oxide is not used because the activated charcoal will not absorb nitrous oxide). All simulations may be configured to scavenge the ventilator drive gas. |
