How to use the practice simulations
This simulation will allow you to practice each step of the checkout on an intact anesthesia machine without faults. All the machine icons (flowmeters, tanks, etc.) are interactive. When you think that you have completed a step, click on the checkbox to indicate that you are done. If you do not know how to perform a step, click on the “Show me” button. The “Rationale” button explains the motivation for the step.
An intelligent tutor will monitor your actions. You will have five tries to perform each step on your own. If five failures occur, the intelligent tutor will play the “Show me” module of the corresponding step again to refresh your memory.
