Virtual Fabius GS - A Transparent Reality Simulation of the Drager Fabius GS Anesthesia Workstation

Korean text link

This transparent reality simulation of an anesthesia workstation demonstrates the differences between anesthesia ventilators that use pistons instead of bellows.

The operation of a mechanical fresh gas flow decoupling valve is simulated as well as a pneumatically operated hypoxic guard safety device.

The operation of the anesthesia workstation in unusual operating conditions such as total loss of electrical power is also depicted.

The simulation includes a module on compliance compensation to account for the volume of gas sequestered by a compliant breathing circuit.  The user interface of the anesthesia workstation is rendered in very high fidelity.  Toggle between the UI or the pneumatic circuit by clicking on the icon at the bottom middle of the simulation screen.
