This transparent reality simulation represents what happens when dry cooled air is forced in channels placed between the body and the football pad. User adjustable variables are Air Temperature, Forced Air Flow, Relative Humidity and Sweat Production. The variables can be manipulated to depict how the body loses heat represented by orange dots. White dots represent dry air that is able to carry water vapor while blue dots represent air that is fully saturated (loaded) with water vapor for a given temperature and cannot absorb any more water vapor. With air fully saturated with water vapor, sweat cannot evaporate and drips off without providing the benefit of heat loss from the latent heat of vaporization of sweat.
